AMD Named a Supplier Engagement Leader on Climate Change

Supplier Engagement Leader –  AMD has again been perceived by CDP as a Provider Commitment Pioneer (2022) for its activities to address ozone harming substance (GHG) emanations and environment gambles in its worldwide store network. AMD is unwavering in its commitment to environmental sustainability, and one way it does this is by collaborating with its manufacturing suppliers1 to assess and continuously enhance performance. In 2022, new manufacturing suppliers were incorporated into the AMD supply chain responsibility program as a result of the acquisitions of Xilinx and Pensando. In order to improve supply chain responsibility performance, the company’s related 2025 objectives call for 100% of its manufacturing suppliers to conduct social and environmental audits, 100% to set public greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction goals, and 80% to source renewable energy.
