Benevity Appoints Lance Ludman as CFO

Lance Ludman has been named chief financial officer by Benevity, Inc., the top supplier of software for corporate purposes worldwide. Lance has more than 20 years of experience growing businesses in the cloud software, social good, and educational technology sectors. Lance will collaborate with all business units at Benevity to deliver scalable, data-driven finance solutions to support the company’s international expansion.

Lance will lead the company’s financial strategy and expand the finance and operations teams to support increasing global sales by utilizing his extensive financial and operational skills in the technology sector. He joins Benevity’s executive team, reporting directly to Schmitt, and will be in charge of operations, risk and compliance, legal, accounting, and financial planning and analysis.

Lance joins Benevity after working for organisations with a purpose for the previous 12 years. His most recent position was as CFO at DreamBox Learning, where he supervised the acquisition of the company in 2021. Prior to that, he worked for Blackbaud, a well-known provider of vertical cloud software, in corporate development and as CFO for the company’s international and enterprise market divisions. His hiring as Benevity’s CFO will take effect on December 21, 2022.
