Beverage Industry Environmental Roundtable Welcomes New Member LION


The Beverage Industry Environmental Roundtable Welcomes LION 

 Leading international beverage businesses have formed the Beverage Industry Environmental Roundtable (BIER), a technical alliance, to enhance environmental sustainability in the beverage industry. BIER’s work on water stewardship, energy efficiency and climate change, beverage container recycling, sustainable agriculture, and ecosystem services is intended to have an impact on the industry. 
LION will contribute to BIER’s collaborative approach of accelerating the development of sustainable solutions through beverage industry-specific data collection, methodologies, standard-setting, and best practise sharing by joining members Anheuser-Busch InBev, Bacardi, Beam Suntory, Brown-Forman, Carlsberg Group, The Coca-Cola Company, Constellation Brands, Diageo, Heineken, Keurig Dr Pepper, MillerCoors, Molson Coors, Ocean Spray Cranberries, Pep 
With its headquarters in Sydney, Australia, LION is a well-known beverage firm with operations also in New Zealand and the US. LION runs microbreweries in addition to producing, marketing, selling, and distributing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The collection of well-known brands owned by LION includes kombucha, beer, cider, wine, and spirits. LION’s sustainability strategy strives to promote responsible product use, increase community resilience in areas where the company operates, and ensure that its environmental legacy has a beneficial effect on present-day society as well as future generations.
