I had the concept for Booster Fuels at home. My wife requested me to serve as the “Chief Fueling Officer” for the family when we were expecting our first child, a daughter. That essentially means she had no desire to visit a petrol station ever again. They are unclean, inconvenient, frequently dangerous, and major polluters. However, they are the only option available to the vast bulk of the transportation sector, including practically all passenger vehicles.
I was certain that there had to be a way for us to assist our communities in finding a solution. I wanted to create a fueling solution that was reliable, affordable, and safe.
I mentioned to Simet that there has long been a business that supplies traditional diesel fuel to heavy vehicles. But I wanted to adopt a more contemporary strategy, one that focuses on the market for smaller, more commonplace vehicles like delivery van fleets, ambulances, and school buses — the ones that actually support the essential community functions. These automobiles had been stuck at the petrol station for far too long, and I knew I could come up with a tech-savvy solution. By providing delivery of multiple fuels and energy types together with data-driven efficiency insights, the objective was to make the work lives of those drivers and fleet managers simpler in order to truly transition these fleets into the sustainable future that we are all striving for.

We must acknowledge that business decisions are rarely straightforward and must be made with the bottom line as a primary priority, no matter how enthusiastic we may all be about the compassion underlying sustainability and decarbonization projects.
