Cintas Corporation (Nasdaq: CTAS) has been nominated to Newsweek’s list of America’s Most Trustworthy Companies 2023 in honor of its dedication to integrity, ethics, and openness in its business operations.

“Trust is the foundation of all successful relationships, and we’re committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability so that we can maintain the trust we’ve earned with our customers, employee-partners, shareholders, and every stakeholder in our business,” said Todd Schneider, Cintas President and CEO. “Trust and mutual respect are foundations of our culture, so we’re certainly honored to be recognized as one of the most trustworthy companies, especially in this case where it was determined through public input.”

Cintas has a long history of excellence in customer service, innovation, and sustainability, and has been regularly acknowledged for its dedication to ethical business practices. The corporation has a long history of financial success, increasing revenue and EPS year after year.

Cintas’ corporate culture, as described in Cintas Founder Dick Farmer’s book “The Spirit is the Difference,” prioritizes professionalism, honesty, high moral standards, teamwork, and responsibility. These corporate traits are embodied by the company’s employee-partners in everything from corporate governance policies and business operations to purpose-driven activities such as charity, sustainability, human capital, safety and health, and DEI programs. In the announcement, Nancy Cooper, Newsweek’s Global Editor in Chief, said, “Trust is as important to any business as employees, capital, and customers.” If consumers, workers, and investors believe they cannot trust a firm to be honest and fair with them, that company will fail. And, in recent years, notably during the epidemic, trust has come to signify more to businesses than merely being fair and avoiding embarrassment. Before they join aboard, consumers, employees, and investors increasingly want to know that a firm shares their ideas and values.”

Cintas has recently been recognized for its business and working policies, earning slots on Fortune World’s Most Admired Companies, Newsweek America’s Most Responsible Companies, and Forbes America’s Best Companies lists.
