Cisco Networking Academy strives for gender equality

Cisco Networking Academy created the Women Rock-IT curriculum 14 years ago in response to women’s underrepresentation in information and communications technology (ICT). The programme aims to show women that they have a place in the digital industry, and more than a million of the more than 1.8 million participants have gone on to enrol in Networking Academy courses.

Jobs in demand include Data Analysts and Scientists, AI and Machine Learning Specialists, Cybersecurity Specialists, Robotics Engineers, Software and Application Developers, and Digital Transformation Specialists, according to the World Economic Forum’s 2020 Future of Jobs Report. Cisco Networking Academy is working hard to ensure that women can and should participate in this technological and workforce revolution.
