Colorado Diversity Council to Host Annual LGBTQ+ Unity Summit
The Colorado Diversity Council will host its annual LGBTQ+ Unity Summit on October 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the University of Denver-Sie Complex, 2201 S Gaylord St., to bring together professionals to discuss workplace equity and inclusion. Reigniting Allyship Through Unity, Equity and Inclusion is the subject for this year, with an emphasis on developing fair practises and engaging discussions on LGBTQ+ inclusion in the workplace.
The Chief Executive Officer of The National Diversity Council, Angeles Valenciano, stated, “I believe in the power of education and discourse to build inclusivity in the workplace.” We take advantage of the summit as a chance to talk to professionals about making their workplaces more accepting of the LGBTQ+ community.
