Comcast NBCUniversal Named A Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion

The Olympic Games

Comcast NBCUniversal was named a Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion for the seventh year in a row, obtaining a perfect score of 100 on the annual Disability Equality Index (DEI). We are honored to be among the companies that are taking measured, tangible steps toward disability inclusion and equality.

The Disability Equality Initiative is a collaboration between the American Association of People with Disabilities, the nation’s biggest disability rights organization, and Disability:IN, the global business disability inclusion network. It is largely regarded as the most thorough benchmarking tool for gauging disability inclusion in the workplace in the world.

Comcast NBCUniversal

It reflects our commitment to fostering an inclusive culture throughout our organization. This includes our Employee Resource Group, the MyAbilities Network, our Accessibility Center of Excellence (COE) for Xfinity customers who require accessibility services, and participation in initiatives like Global Accessibility Awareness Day to help expand employee education on creating more inclusive, accessible experiences for all.

Furthermore, this honor recognizes more than a decade of commitment to make our goods, technology, services, and experiences accessible to the broadest possible audience while opening new opportunities to freedom for persons with disabilities. From ground-breaking product innovations like our innovative Xfinity Large Button Voice Remote, which was named “The Best Universal TV Remote for Seniors or the Disabled” by USA Today in 2023, to providing the industry’s first dedicated customer care team in American Sign Language, we’ve got you covered. In other words, disability inclusion remains central to how we design experiences for everyone to enjoy.

Comcast NBCUniversal is thrilled to be a top-scoring company, and we look forward to continuing this critical work as part of our overall strategy.
