Crown Holdings Sustainability Report – Bridging the gap between our organization’s global character and the local locations in which we operate is equally crucial. We show our regard for the communities we operate in and the people who call those places home by contributing to local fundraisers, social events, and supporting good organizations.
Our teams around the world continue to demonstrate their commitment to not only preserving our own workforce and colleagues’ well-being, but also to contribute to the care of their surrounding communities.

Here are some recent examples of their thoughtfulness:
Holiday Cheer in the Midwest
Our team organized 25 staff and hourly volunteers in Kankakee, Illinois (US) to participate in a local lighting Christmas parade, where they could provide holiday pleasure to local children and families. The organization collaborated with our Batesville, Mississippi (U.S.) facility and a local brewer to create and deliver 3,000 painted bank cans to parade spectators, creating a joyful surprise for the community over the holiday season.
Warrensburg, Illinois (U.S.)
Our team successfully arranged a Toys for Tots drive, which provided local children with monster trucks, coloring books, and other toys for play and development. In addition, our Toledo, Ohio (U.S.) team contributed hundreds of winter hats, gloves, scarves, and mittens, as well as several thousand dollars in toys, to local foster children via an area foster organization.
Food Drives from Closures
The team in Weirton, West Virginia (US), enabled a close customer’s contribution of approximately 2,000 jars of spaghetti sauce, as well as its own substantial supply of pasta, to a food drive at the local Salvation Army chapter.
