Fair Trade USA™ Welcomes Board Directors

Two organizational changes are announced by Fair Trade USA TM. Recently, Natasha Chand and Sean Foote were added to the organization’s board of directors.

Foote previously spent more than ten years on the Fair Trade USA Advisory Council. He is a co-founder and managing director of Co=Creation=Capital, where he provides guidance to organizations on setting up and running their Corporate Venture Capital operations. Foote has been a venture capital and private equity instructor at the University of California’s Haas School of Business for the past 17 years.

Chand has built and led consumer brands across the globe for more than 25 years in business and technology. Chand most recently served as the co-founder and chief executive officer of Amazon’s Softlines Private Brands. Chand has been a strong proponent of the customer throughout her career and has consistently worked to change industry norms. She also helped develop new transparency standards that give consumers an unbiased understanding of the environmental impact of textile products. Throughout her professional life, she has resided in North America, Australia, Africa, and Asia, and she has worked extensively in both developing and developed markets.
