Gilead Sciences Stay Positive while Facing Metastatic Triple-Negative Breast Cancer

Gilead Sciences – Jacquie’s battle with cancer started when she was only 15 years old and was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. She discovered she had triple-negative breast cancer after receiving a HER2-positive breast cancer diagnosis three decades later (TNBC).

When Jacquie overcame her non-Hodgkin lymphoma as an adolescent, she felt as though cancer was no longer a part of her life. “I definitely never imagined having three different, unique types of cancer,” the patient said.

Her oncologist informed her that she had 90 days to live without therapy after being diagnosed with metastatic TNBC, and it didn’t appear that there was much hope left. She then discovered that there were therapy choices.
