GoDaddy Sustainability Journey by making strides

GoDaddy Sustainability Journey – GoDaddy’s 2021 Sustainability Report covers the company’s environmental, social, and governance strategies, actions, progress, KPIs, and performance.
GoDaddy is a worldwide corporation dedicated to openly sharing its sustainability progress.

Here are some of the ways GoDaddy is demonstrating their commitment to a long-term future:

GoDaddy Sustainability Journey

Statement on Climate Change

GoDaddy recognizes that climate change is a fast expanding threat to humanity, with the potential to affect practically every area of our lives in its inaugural Climate Change Statement.
As a result, the company is focusing more on environmental initiatives, such as accounting for and disclosing GHG emissions, reducing the environmental impact of our physical locations through energy efficiency, water conservation, renewable energy technologies, and recycling programmes, and funding and supporting the “GoDaddy Green” Employee Resource Group, which is a global network of employees concerned about environmental issues.

Emissions of Greenhouse Gases

GoDaddy has publicly declared their first greenhouse gas reduction target: a 50% reduction in scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2025, with a longer-term goal in mind.
GoDaddy has decreased its active corporate real estate footprint by 55 percent in two years by implementing a hybrid work paradigm and optimizing firm office space with sustainability in mind.

Global Compact of the United Nations

GoDaddy has joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), confirming its dedication to human rights, labour, the environment, and anti-corruption.
GoDaddy intends to satisfy a crucial criteria for UNGC membership by submitting an annual Communication on Progress (COP) outlining the company’s efforts to implement The Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact within one year of joining and yearly thereafter in accordance with UNGC policy.
