Green Restaurant Association recognized Destination and Lodge Kohler

The Kohler Co. has announced that all 16 of its Destination Kohler and Lodge Kohler restaurants have been designated as Certified Green Restaurants. Kohler Co. has the distinction of having the most Certified Green Restaurants in Wisconsin, thanks to this certification and significant step forward in sustainable dining practises. The Green Restaurant Association is a non-profit organization that administers the country’s only certified Certified Green Restaurants® logo.

The restaurants, which are located in Kohler, Sheboygan, and Green Bay, have incorporated a number of environmentally friendly procedures to conserve energy, decrease trash, and push the restaurant sector toward environmental sustainability. Kohler’s long-held view that environmental stewardship and corporate leadership are mutually beneficial is a basic tenet that underlies the company’s Believing in Better initiative.

Disposables, Energy, Food, Chemical & Pollution, Furnishing and Building, Waste, and Water were among the seven environmental categories in which Destination Kohler and Lodge Kohler dining businesses achieved GreenPointsTM.
