Hormel Foods names to Investor’s Business Daily on 100 Best ESG Companies List
Hormel Foods developed the 20 by 30 Challenge as a component of its Our Food JourneyTM, a list of 20 qualitative and quantitative objectives to complete by the year 2030 with an emphasis on environmental, societal, and game-changing objectives to improve the state of the world. Among them are achieving reductions in our packaging, nonrenewable energy use, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, water use, and solid waste sent to landfills, as well as supporting regenerative agriculture initiatives. We continue to increase our annual purchasing spend with small and diverse businesses. Our 2021 Global Impact Report included information on the company’s objectives.
Hormel Foods is making its first entry on the Investor’s Business Daily annual list of the 100 Best ESG Companies.
