Speed increase with Which Nonprofits Address Climate Change

Nonprofits Address Climate Change – Nielsen marked its ninth annual Earth Day with a variety of activities and volunteer events to help build a stronger and more resilient future for the planet and future generations as part of its commitment to sustainability. The global leader in audience measurement, data, and analytics set out to create volunteer opportunities that would bring employees closer to the cause of climate justice, give them a better understanding of the disproportionate impact of environmental challenges on vulnerable communities, and expose them to social sector solutions. Nielsen drew on Common Impact’s expertise in creating cause-based skilled volunteering programmes to build a unique event that met these objectives. As a result, 13 Nielsen volunteers participated in a five-hour flash consulting day of service.

“Nielsen’s Earth Day festivities in 2022 gave an important chance to emphasize how our choices and actions can help to develop a better climate future for all people, particularly the role that media and technology firms can play in that better future,” says the company.
