KeyBank Colorado Honored by Mile High United Way With 2023 Community Champion Award

KeyBank Colorado

KeyBank Colorado – KeyBank is pleased to announce that it has been recognized as a Mile High United Way Community Champion, the organisation’s top corporate partner honour. KeyBank is thrilled to be selected as an exemplary charitable partner, creating a significant effect across the Metro Denver region, as the Partner in Service winner.

KeyBank has been a Mile High United Way supporter in various ways for many years. Recently, Key celebrated its 32nd annual Neighbors Make the Difference Day, one of the bank’s most visible community volunteer events, with over 16,000 hours donated to nonprofits around the bank’s territory. Thousands more coworkers from across the country left their desks to help local community groups, projects, and causes such as Mile High United Way. This is just one of the numerous ways Key helps this organization.

“We all love our community and take pride in living in it and supporting our neighbors,” said Mike Katz, Colorado Market President at KeyBank. “Supporting Mile High United Way is an honor and privilege because we value the work they do in the community.”

This honor comes as Mile High United Way completes a year-long celebration of its 135th anniversary as the world’s first United Way. Mile High United Way, founded in Denver in 1887, serves a seven-county area, providing families with wraparound support focusing on three interwoven community priorities: ensuring a healthy start for all children, promoting academic success, and generating economic opportunity for all.
