However, much more work needs to be done around the world to make Safe Water For All a reality. As an example:

Globally, 2.2 billion people have limited or no access to safe drinking water.

46 million Americans do not have access to safe drinking water.

Every day, women and girls spend 200 million hours fetching water.

In the next two years, approximately 1.8 billion people will live in water-stressed areas.
