LA Kings Hosted Nonpartisan Voter Registration Drive

On October 13, 2022, AEG’s LA Kings held a voter registration drive at Crypto.com Arena to promote voter registration before the national general election in November. The NHL and Headcount’s “Good to Vote” project, which aims to motivate hockey fans across to cast ballots in fall, was the catalyst for the event.

Hockey supporters could register to vote or check the status of their registration at a polling station situated on the Main Concourse of Crypto.com Arena during the LA Kings’ home game versus the Seattle Kraken. The NHL and HeadCount’s partnership offers a special method to connect with a new audience and encourage them to vote in the upcoming midterm elections.

HeadCount is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organisation that promotes voter registration by utilising the influence of music, culture, and digital media. In order to provide participants with an easy way to register to vote, HeadCount first partnered with the NHL earlier this year during the NHL Fan FairTM and NHL All-Star® in Las Vegas. The partnership offers a special chance to connect with a new audience and encourage them to vote.
