Mr. Hari Elluru, the head of corporate marketing for LG Electronics West Africa Operations, said the following in his introductory remarks:
Social care is always the main focus of our efforts because we are conscious of the responsibility we have as such a major corporation towards the community in which we operate.
We have shown this through a range of humanitarian endeavours, initiatives, and gifts, always responding where assistance is most needed.
He continued, “We think the air conditioning units, together with the other things we are donating today, will improve the service delivery in the hospital and provide the conducive environment for the medical staff.”
He made a suggestion that LG Electronics’ ultimate goal is to continuously improve the lives of both its prized clients and the general public.
This trip, which is a component of LG Electronics’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, is intended to connect with the nation’s healthcare facilities.
I really believe that the supplies we are contributing today will help this hospital, the people living in this town, and their desire for good health by enabling the hospital personnel to work more effectively.
The Medical Director, Dr. Olusegun Babafemi, accepted the products on behalf of the administration of Gbagada General Hospital and thanked LG Electronics for the thoughtful gift.
“As a centre for public health, we are honoured to receive these uniquely crafted air conditioners and mosquito nets. All of this contributes to faster and more effective work from the entire crew as well as improved patient circumstances.
“We continuously improve our goods based on input from our valued customers around the world. We don’t flood the market with things that won’t help the consumers; instead, we create goods that help people live the wonderful lives they want to live and last them through various stages of life expectancy. In LG, we say, “Life’s Good.” In fact, when you interact with our brands, life is better with us.
As part of our CSR programmes, “we are here to give back to society and we will keep doing this for our highly appreciated consumers and the public to strengthen the ecosystem and support the government when appropriate,” he continued.
