DuPont Sustainability Report – Science and engineering are the cornerstones of DuPont’s business, and innovation is at the heart of our long-term value creation strategy for our customers. Our sustainability plan is based on our mission to provide the world with the vital technologies it needs to prosper, as well as the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). We embrace the fast speed of learning, development, and expectations happening across the world and within our own communities and workforce as a major multi-industrial corporation. Our sustainability plan, which was launched in 2019 and will be revised in 2021, was formed in 2019.

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) offer a bold vision for an equitable and sustainable world by 2030, which we all aim to accomplish. Our commitment to leverage our talent, resources, and innovation experience to work on significant and meaningful challenges in order to make the UN SDG vision a reality is known as “Innovate for Good.” All organizations must commit and invest, and new levels of connectivity and collaborative innovation across and between industries are required for success. What we do has an impact, and what we do as a group has an even greater influence. In 2021, we contacted clients and end users all around the world to better understand their needs and develop a more concentrated set of innovation platforms aimed at addressing sustainability concerns in sectors and marketplaces.

DuPont’s core principles reflect our long-standing commitment to protect our employees, contractors, customers, and communities while also conserving the environment. Our sustainability strategy and goals reflect these basic principles because, in the end, the most important and long-lasting business outcomes are those that allow people and the world to prosper together. We prioritized climate action in 2021, reducing our GHG emissions by 10%, and completing our strategic plan.

Our sustainability strategy and goals remain crucial to achieving our future growth, even as our company and product ranges change. We focused and advanced strategic activities across all nine goals in 2021, while accelerating progress on three key goals: delivering answers for global challenges, acting on climate change, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. Enabling a circular economy, innovating safer by design, and enabling a circular economy are some of our other objectives.
