Deutsche Telekom and T-Mobile – Winner, winner, winner! T-Mobile US (NASDAQ: TMUS) and Deutsche Telekom’s R&D unit revealed the winners of the latest T Challenge at an event in Bonn, Germany. T Challenge, a six-month worldwide competition driving innovation in Web3 development with 5G, concludes with an event celebrating six firms and their ideas that illustrate the enormous potential to alter how people interact with the internet. The winners will get over $500,000 in prize money and will have the opportunity to further develop and execute their solutions alongside T-Mobile US and Deutsche Telekom in the United States and Europe.

“This year’s winners are incredible examples of how 5G goes beyond smartphones,” said T-Mobile US EVP and Chief Technology Officer John Saw. “With 5G and Web3, users will have more control over their personal data on the internet than ever before – no matter what device they are using.”

“The Web3 solutions have a significant impact on people’s daily lives all over the world.” “Web3 technologies must consider the well-being of their users, which is why we launched this year’s T Challenge,” said Claudia Nemat, Deutsche Telekom’s Board Member for Technology and Innovation. “With hundreds of applications from over 50 countries, this competition and its winners demonstrate how critical it is to promote a human-centric internet through technology.”
